Installed in the Rosebank suburb of Cape Town, Irma Stern Museum is dedicated to the art work of one of South Africa's leading artists, Irma Stern. Established in 1971, the museum displays a comprehensive collection of Stern's artwork along with her private collection of furniture and African art. The collections highlight portraits, figures, lush landscapes and still life conveyed in different media forms like oils, water colors, charcoal and other.
