Description:

As the name indicates, Rhodes Memorial is dedicated to imperialist Cecil John Rhodes. Designed by Herbert Baker, the construction of this memorial was started in 1906 and completed in 1912. This memorial was built at Rhode’s favorite spot at the foot of Devil’s Peak. Today, the Rhodes Memorial is a part of the Table Mountain National Park. The popular tea room behind the memorial is a perfect spot for picnicking.
