Housed in the temple of Xiannong, Beijing Ancient Architecture Museum is the first theme museum in China which throws light on collection, study and exhibition of architecture. Various photos, pictures and models in the museum depict the technological development of Chinese architecture since antiquity. The Chinese ancient architecture is showcased through various models from hutch and mud houses to high rising Ming and Qing Dynasties.
