Tsinghua university is essentially a tiny city. Walls separate the university from the city outside, and most of the students, staffs and faculties live in the campus. The campus was part of the Old Summer Palace and there are lots of greens and a lake. It is an interesting place where you will see the future of China mixed with traces of history with a little soviet taste.
