Description:
Being a large botanical garden in Guangzhou province, the garden was founded in 1929 which focuses on research in ecology, botany, biotechnology, plant resources, gardening and landscaping. Located around 8 kilometers away from the city, it is the oldest and largest South Asian botanical garden in China. The garden is also home to more than 5,000 species of plants and is also known as Subtropical Plants Museum.
