Housed in the century-old, Edwardian-style former Old Pathological Institute, the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences represents the historical development of medical sciences in Hong Kong. The museum comprises of 11 exhibition galleries, 1 gallery for Tai Ping Shang View, 1 library and 1 lecture room. The exhibits reflect the development of dentistry and radiology, medicines invented by man on severe pains, SARS and other infectious diseases and the appalling living conditions in Tai Ping Shan.
