City: Shanghai
Description:

Located in Jiading District, the Qiuxia Garden is one of the top five classical gardens of Shanghai, which was once served as the private garden of the mansion of Gong Hong, Minister of Works of the Ming Dynasty. It is the one with the longest history of about 800 years, and is among the best preserved gardens in Shanghai where the Ming Dynasty style architecture, the woods, the stone-arched bridges and rockeries remind of the days of the ancient Chinese times. Designed beautifully and delicately with an elegant composition, the Qiuxia Garden is highly reputed for its breath-taking beauty.
