City: Tokyo

This is the place to worship Japanese God and is one of the ten most important shrines of Tokyo which is believed to have been founded in 1102 by Regent Fujiwara Yorimichi's daughter, Kanshi and was further moved to its present location in 1655. The path leading up to the shrine is lined on both sides with cafes and stone lanterns.
