Kyu Iwasaki-tei Teien was established in 1896 in honor of the Iwasaki family, who were the founders of the Mitsubishi group, and has managed to survive for more than 100 years despite its wooden structure. This has been a primary escape to relax and let loose in the beautifully landscaped center of the city. The premises consist of three buildings - a Western style house, a Japanese house and a billiard house.
