A popular paddling spot in summer, Nogowa Park is a very large nature park located in Mitaka City of Tokyo with an estimated area of about 40 hectares. It was formerly a golf course owned and operated by the International Christian University, which now serves one of Tokyo's most beautiful public parks. The Nogowa River runs through the middle of this picturesque park. Upstream, is a small but beautiful nature center where visitors can listen to recorded sounds of birds and learn about different types of insects. The southern part of the park features play equipment for children and sport facilities such as tennis courts.
