Situated about 2750 feet above sea level on the northern part of Penang, this is one of the oldest colonial hill station established by the British during their time in Malaysia. Penang Hill offers the best panorama of Georgetown. The resort can be reached by Penang Hill Railway, a funicular railway. Penang Hill comprises several hills including Strawberry Hill, Halliburton's Hill, Flagstaff Hill, Government Hill, Tiger Hill and Western Hill.
