Located around 15 kilometers from the main town, Wat Pothivihan is a Buddhist temple housing world's largest and longest reclining statue of Buddha. The statue seems to be 40 meters long and the temple is recognized for its incredible statue, being one of the most famous temples of Kota Bharu. Construction of the statue was completed in 1979 where all the funds for it came from public donations and the Buddhist Association in Malaysia.
