Situated on the west bank of the Malacca River, Kampung Morten is a village of traditional houses and one of Malaysian national heritage sites. The village is named after J.F. Morten who was the Commissioner of Land in the early 1920's during the early history of the village. It is a great place for those who like to see some examples of traditional Malay homes and their way of style.
