Description:
Recognized as a special land for conservation of endangered monkey species, Labuk Bay Proboscis Monkey Sanctuary is a privately owned land having an area of 400 acres. The area was conserved in 1994 and was opened later to the public, where it is home to around 60 monkey species. Visitors can feed the monkeys and catch a glimpse of them in their natural habitat, however there are fixed feeding timings which are usually twice a day.
