Being a part of National Museum of Singapore, the Asian Civilization Museums specializes in pan-Asian culture and civilization. Opened in 1997, the museum portrays objects spanning through 5,000 years of Asian history, being the only museum in entire region to showcase Asian artworks. Exhibits of the museum cover material history of China, South Asia, West Asia as well as Southeast Asia. It provides advanced technology, multimedia displays and contemporary design for children and adults.
