Located at 100 Victoria Street, National Library of Singapore replaces the old National Library which was closed in 2004. Comprising an area of 60,000m2, National Library is a 16-storey building. The library brings together the Central Public Library and Lee Kong Chian Reference Library under one roof. Designed to be environment friendly, the building features two public gardens. The Drama Center occupying the third, fourth and fifth floors, is used for plays and performing arts.
