Officially opened by Trade and Industry Minister BG George Yeo, the museum was established to portray the significance of Singapore-Japan war. It narrates the inspirational stories of the war and has a sole objective to promote the inspiration in today's young generation. Being dedicated to all those who were born, lived and dead in Singapore during the tough time of World War II, the museum sets a unique example before the upcoming generations.
