Gildong Ecological Park, with an area of more than 80,000 square meters, is a natural ecosystem preserving and displaying a wide range of flora and fauna in their natural habitats, allowing people to observe plants, animals and insects in a natural ecosystem. It offers a healthy ecological space to people to make them aware of the importance of environment. The park consists of five main areas - Marsh Area for water plants, Reservoir Area for birds and fish, Forest Area for trees and vegetation, Grassland Area which is an exact replica of a rural village landscape, and the Plaza Area with outdoor exhibition and observation areas.
