Built to commemorate the 1988 Seoul Olympics, this large green park with wilderness areas, lakes and other interesting features, is a great leisure facility that accommodates six stadiums including weight lifting and fencing gymnasiums and an indoor swimming pool. With nice walking paths, grassy lawns, sculpture gardens and rest areas, the park is open all day as a multi-purpose area for leisure, sports and cultural activities. The park not only houses the country's largest sports arena but also becomes the place where Seoul residents come to relax and unwind.
