San Jao Sieng Kong is one of the oldest Chinese shrines in Bangkok. It gets lively during the Vegetarian Festival held in October, when Chinese fairground games and operas are staged. Devotees visiting the shrine hang ceremonial lanterns and incense swirls high among the rafters.
