Located on the Ataturk Street in Kaleici, Hadrian Arch is a triumphal arch which is considered as the most beautiful gate. Built in honor of Roman Emperor Hadrian and one can climb up the magnificent architecture by internal steps to explore it in details. The arch is completely built of white marble and the towers on both sides of the arch come from different periods. It was explored when some of the walls collapsed in 1950s and later it underwent restoration in 1959.
