Being one of the first Islamic buildings in the city, Yivli Minaret is a mosque in city of Antalya and is considered as symbol and landmark of the city. Initially built in 1230, the entire mosque underwent reconstruction in year 1373. Exploring inner side of the mosque, there are in all 90 steps which lead you to its top and total height is 38 meters, having 8 fluted sections. Decorated with dark blue tiles, the site at present houses Antalya Ethnographic Museum and contains amazing collections.
