Soğukçeşme Sokağı is a small street which houses the Ottoma era houses. Dating back to 19th and 20th centuries, these mansions were renovated in the 1980's. In addition to these well-known buildings, the Soğukçeşme Sokağı also features Istanbul Library which was founded by Çelik Gülersoy. Opened to the public in 1990, this library has over 10,000 books that talk about Istanbul. Visitors can also find a restaurant on one end of Soğukçeşme Sokağı towards Gülhane Park.
