Tasmanian Transport Museum, based in Glenorchy is a heritage of Tasmania being preserved by a dedicated band of volunteers. The museum displays models of railways, tram cars, locomotives, trolley buses, carriages and wagons, rail motors, motor buses and stationary steam engines. Explore the history of transportation in Tasmania through the historical photographs and other small objects. The museum also organizes train trips twice a month on first and third Sunday.
