Built in 1831, the Round House is the oldest building in Western Australia. There is a tunnel below the Round House, which is the oldest in Western Australia. The structure of the building is very simple, but the location where it sits is stunning. This building was built to hold person convicts of a crime. The Gun Deck of the house provides a panoramic view of Fremantle Harbor, Rottnest and Garden Islands and Bathers Beach.
