Double Bay is best known for its shopping, restaurants, and cafes. A marina and a ferry wharf dominate the harborfront. Swimming isn't popular here, and the waterfront park is a little worn. This is probably Sydney's most stylish business district with plenty of boutiques selling fashion, couture and homewares. There are harbor pools, grand residences, extensive parks and some of Sydney's most respected schools, and excellent public transport links.
