It's a long popular beach, with good facilities and great waves. Probably a little less scenic than the beaches further north, as it lacks the cliff headlands, therefore probably not as good for walking. It is considered one of Sydney's best surfing beaches. A cafe and kiosk on the beach open even during winter.
