The site of the Old King's School, located on the northern bank of Parramatta River, between O'Connell and Marsden Streets is of great cultural significance to the history and evolution of education in New South Wales. Founded in 1831, The King's School was the first large private boarding school run by the Anglican Church which now serves the Heritage Council of NSW.
