It's a small surf beach nestled between Bondi and Bronte and surrounded by high cliffs. The ever-present rips make Tamarama the most dangerous patrolled beach in New South Wales though, but it's a haven for sunbathing and celebrity watching. Volunteer lifesavers are always on duty on weekends and public holidays for public safety.
