This beautiful secluded Wendy Whiteley's Garden is an unexpected treat tucked away just behind Luna Park, and nestled between Clark Park on Lavender Street and the Lavender Bay railway shunting yard. Wendy Whiteley built this secret garden in 1992 in memory of her husband Brett Whiteley, one of Sydney's favorite artists who have won many prestigious art prizes in Australia. This park is indeed secret and elusive, and within the park there are sculptures, herbs, romantic seating, Moreton Bay fig trees and nature paths that cross each other.
