City: Auckland

The Waitakere Ranges Regional Parkland covers more than 16,000 hectares of native forest and coastline. It is home to some of Auckland's most visited national treasures, and this is a place where pristine bush, native wildlife and rugged black sand surf beaches come together. The park includes 250km of walking and tramping tracks, breathtaking vistas, spectacular rocky outcrops, waterfalls and cliffs.
