KunstHausWien was created by one of Austria's most famous artists known as Friedensreich Hundertwasser. It houses the permanent exhibition of Hundertwasser's works as well as regular temporary exhibitions of various other artists. In addition to the collection of Friedensreich Hundertwasser, other artists whose works have been exhibited here include Andy Warhol, David Hockney, Karl Schmidt-Rottluff, HR Giger, Keith Haring and various others. The museum also features a cafe and a shop on the ground floor.
