St. Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom) has survived through many wars and has become a symbol of Vienna's freedom and a moving place for worship. This is a world renowned cultural heritage site and monument that is also a church, where seven services are held on weekdays and ten on Sundays. This cathedral is an impressive Gothic edifice of dark stone, complimented with a colorful tiled roof.
