Description:
Located in the historic area bordering the former ghetto, the Museum is more of an outdoor monument with exhibits than a museum, with names of more than 70,000 Holocaust victims carved on the wall, as well as a photo exhibition focusing on anti-Semitic propoganda. The neighborhood still consists of small wooden houses with wooden-carved shutters, cobblestone streets and rusty outdoors. The museum was established to remind all of those horrifying historic events in the history of Latvia.
