The Comenius Museum is actually a pedagogical museum which documents the development of the Czech education system based on the works of Czech philosopher J.A. Komensky, better known as Comenius. He is considered the founder of humanistic pedagogy, who worked in Bohemia, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany and England, influencing the concept of education in a large part of the civilized world.
