City: Prague
Description:

A music auditorium designed in the neo-Renaissance style, the Rudolfinum is one of the most noteworthy buildings in Prague. Originally intended as a multipurpose cultural venue with concert and exhibition halls, it was inaugurated on February 7, 1885. It served as an assembly hall of Czech Parliament temporarily, between 1919 and 1941. Concert activity was restored to the Rudolfinum during the German occupation, but the full possession did not take place until 1992.
