City: Liverpool
Description:

Formerly Wavertree Botanic Gardens and Park, the park serves an example of mid 19th century public parks and gardens. It became a venue for popular events like Liverpool International Exhibition of Navigation, Travelling, Commerce and Manufactures in 1886. Presently, the walled gardens here represent the charm of history of the site still remaining in the area. Apart, the park also includes Grade II curator’s lodge which was build in 1836-1837.
