A great example of a German success story, the Galerie Max Hetzler has established itself as one of the most respected and popular art spaces in the city. The gallery has always had a liking for innovative German artists such as Albert Oehlen, Martin Kippenberger and Thomas Struth, including some international names like Larry Clark, Jeff Koons and Sarah Morris. Previously situated in West Berlin, it is one of the oldest and largest galleries in town. It now exhibits high-quality works by well-established contemporary artists.
