Glyptothek houses the collection Greek and Roman sculptures which are owned by Bavarian state. These antique sculptures date from the Archaic Age to the Roman Era. The most famous sculptures found here are Kouros of Tenea, Munich Kouros, temple figures from Aegina, Medusa Rondanini, Statue of Eirene and much more. In addition, the Glyptothek museum also has a large collection of Roman busts.
