Haus der Kunst is a non-collecting art museum for contemporary art. The museum is dedicated to the exploration of histories of contemporary art through exhibitions. Partitioned in several small areas, the museum is used as a showcase venue for temporary exhibitions and travelling exhibitions like Gilbert and George and the Zeit der Staufer exhibitions.
