The stunning Hangar Bicocca is a large, multipurpose exhibition space and a venue for the production, promotion and exhibition of contemporary art. Established in 2008, this magnificent art space is an integral part of Milan's historical and artistic heritage. The temporary shows are worth a look, but the big attraction of the museum is a permanent installation by German artist Anselm Kiefer. There also have been several significant international shows and a plethora of cultural and performance events that have attracted a diverse number of visitors.
