Centrale Montemartini is one of the most interesting museums located in Rome. This museum is housed in the former power station of Acea, which is completely refurbished. Museum's permanent collection consists of ancient statues, busts, tombs and mosaic.  The Roman sculptures and mosaics are exhibited against industrial machinery and pipes which were used in the station. The main gallery of the museum features two large diesel motors dating from 1933.
