Description:
Palazzo Spada is situated at Piazza Capo di Ferro. This building was erected in the sixteenth century for Cardinal Girolamo Capodiferro. One century later it was acquired by another powerful Cardinal, Bernardino Spada and was restored by Borromini, who created the forced perspective optical illusion in the arcaded courtyard.
