The San Crisogono church is located at Piazza Sonnino 40, within the quarter of Trastevere district of Rome. It is devoted to the martyr Saint Chrysogonus and is one of the earliest parochial churches of the city of Rome. San Crisogono church was erected in fourth century under Pope Silvester I (314–335) and rebuilt in the 12th century by John of Crema, and yet again by Giovanni Battista Soria in the early seventeenth century.
