Description:
The Ca’ Pesaro is a masterpiece of the Baroque civil Venetian Longhena and a grand marble palace which hides two quirky museums; the International Gallery of Modern Art which houses 19th and 20th century paintings and sculptures focusing on Italian art, and the Oriental Art Museum which holds a rich collection mainly of Asian exhibits. The palace was built in the second half of the 17th century for the noble and wealthy Pesaro family.
