The Parco delle Rimembranze (Park of Remembrance) is a large and serene park dedicated to those soldiers who died in the Second World War, and is probably one of the nicest green areas in the city. This pleasant park is littered with tall trees, plants and benches. The park also has excellent children's play areas, large areas of grass and a roller-skating rink. The park is also close to a large football stadium, Stadio Penzo, named after Pierluigi Penzo.
