The Riekermolen was erected in 1636 on the bank of the Amstel River at Kalfjeslaan. With a size of 515 hectare in the Amstelland area, this windmill along with an electric pumping-engine drains the garden city of Buitenveldert. It is a stunning windmill, near to Amsterdam including an eye catching park.
