City: Belfast
Description:

It is a commercial working forest located within the boundaries of a city and lies in the Lagan Valley along the edge of the Lagan River. The forest links to the Lagan River 'Towpath' and the Lagan Valley Regional Park. It’s a vibrant park forest with a variety of wildlife and a range of tree specimens. The park is also an ideal site for bird watching. Look out for the kingfishers from the riverside paths, and the beautiful red squirrels, which can be best seen at the feeding station.
