The museum houses paintings based on the themes like family portraits, social criticism, self-portraits and works depicting typical local customs. In addition to these theme paintings, the Impressionists works are the major works in Sorolla's colorist period. Apart from paintings, there are sculptures, jewelry ceramics, photographs and an important archive containing Sorolla's private correspondence. Works by popular artists like Benlliure, Rodin and Bloy are also on display.
