The Leiria Castle (in Portuguese - Castelo de Leiria) is located in the city of Leiria, Portugal. The castle was listed as a National monument from 1910. It is positioned on top of the cobblestone avenues of Leiria city. Castelo de Leiria is based on Roman architecture, was built in the twelfth century under the reign of Afonso Henriques.
